Following the official announcement of Battlefield 2042 A few days ago, we saw the gameplay for the first time at the Microsoft conference at E3 2021. EA and DICE decided to show their work, allowing fans to briefly know the content of Battlefield 2042.

Although the first trailer was created on the engine, it was nothing more than a collection of typical multiplayer moments, no real gameplay was seen. The map looks huge, each map has its own motif for the story of the battle in the game, and the destruction will bring huge rewards and will be enhanced by in-game events and weather effects.

The first appearance of the prealpha images of Battlefield 2042 features a 128-player game of conquest, as well as a large number of vehicle and foot battles. New gadgets, such as grapple guns, have been shown that allow players to take shortcuts to cranes from huge gaps. Wingsuits are also used, which appear to replace parachutes in many respects. After jumping from the building, the player can activate it, and it can slide across the map when falling.

However, for many people, the surprising moment comes from the weather, which causes the map to change. The tornado that appeared in the original ad trailer reappears this time on the map, dealing a lot of damage and dragging objects, vehicles and people if the distance is too short. On another map you can see a huge sandstorm sweeping across the map, which certainly makes it difficult for players to see and can cause a lot of problems during the game.

Players can also see a brigade in the elevator taking advantage of the time to modify their weapons. The player user interface appears around the weapon, showing the options that you can change, including optics, barrel accessories, grips, and ammo. This should be a huge advantage for players who don't want to wait to respawn.

The final release date of the game will arrive in October. In addition to the upcoming beta tests, EA Play Live will be in July. We look forward to seeing more content, including the reveal of the third game mode in which DICE LA has been working and keeping it a secret.
