The interface

This section will cover the Lens Islands user interface in todo its menus in general, including camera modes, what you will see and how you will interact. Additionally, small parts and details of the user interface will be explained for ease of use.
The user interface of Len’s Islands is simple, it is designed to stay out of the way or bother players in an isometric perspective and, at the same time, provide them todor what they need. Here we will cover the user interface. In this section we will cover the backpack, inventory management, camera options, and interactions in your inventory. To show your Inventory press TAB.

This is the resource section of your backpack. Your backpack is the bread and butter of your inventory management. This section of your backpack shows what you are carrying, the white number in the upper right (/ 150) shows the maximum you can carry with that level of backpack. Hovering over the resource icons will dice what resource is there and of course this section shows how much you can bring. Once you reach the limit of your backpack and cannot carry any more resources, these will remain on the ground until you pick them up or a loading screen appears. On Len’s Island there are very few forms of storage other than the backpack. Managing your resources can be crucial to making sure you don't have waste on your adventures.

This is the food and crop section of your backpack. This includes anything related to materials outside of construction. In this menu you can drag your selected food pile onto its assigned pile; The number shown on the icon represents the amount that you can drag on your hot bar up to the maximum stack. You can take food out of your inventory no matter where you are as long as you have that Resource available. Follow the same item cap that the backpack carries and it will increase on higher level backpacks.

  • Decorations

This page in your inventory shows the pages of your building needs. These pages in todYour construction submenus will have construction icons. blocking when you first start this is because you haven't unlocked it yet. This can be unlocked using the designated resource on a workbench. There are different materials and ways to build. The three ways to build are

  • Wood
  • Stone
  • Ornate

Starting with general building tiles, which will include the foundation, walls, roof tiles, windows, fences, balconies and other things like that. These are the most basic and advanced of todYou'll love building ideas, so have fun exploring with them. (We would also like you to publish your builds and designs on the Discordia).

This is where you will store and sleep (outside of the Starter Raft that contained the Bedroll and the Inventory of Tools / Weapons). Sleeping allows you to skip the Nights, which can help speed up the Plants in their Process, for example. The other important item in your Utility is the Workbench, which will allow you to Research new unlocks for your Construction Menu and make new Equipment for your Len, this bank can be upgraded with the required amount of resources. Later in your Utility and Storage you have Storage of Weapons / Tools and a Place to Melt Resources and Cook Food And for your musical tastes, A gramophone is available so you can Enjoy the Enchanting Music of 'Lars Erik Fjøsne-Eide'

This is the Advanced Menu of the Camera. To access it, open the inventory tab TAB and press F (You can also open the menu and click on the screenshot mode) to open this window which will highlight your screen with a blue border. This camera mode allows you to get into a bit more advanced build. While holding down OTHER and scrolling with the mouse wheel, you can slowly scroll through the height level of the construction layers. This includes todor even just the floor. This allows you to get more angles and more precise construction in your creations.

The last thing to include here is that if you click on any placeable item a small menu will appear. This is mainly used in your general building blocks for the game. This will allow you to upgrade to certain different shapes of that block, such as upgrade foundations from wood to stone or even back to wood. Your spent resources will be refunded and exchanged for the equivalent of the original price of placing said item.

The Island

This section will cover todor what you need to know about the main island your Len will live on, including normal and key locations, what appears here, and the things you'll encounter.

The main island, the one in which you spawn. In which you live and, ultimately, the place where you will develop during your stay on the Isla de León. This island has a lot to offer you and your Len during the time you spend here, it will take you bastBefore long, you will pass through here as much as the Caves, so it is good that you feel comfortable and familiar with the Island. Learning it helps you not to get lost either and to gain a little more in your adventures.

First impressions

When you first arrive at Len Island you are greeted by a warm morning, the soft lap of the beach against the shore and your Len. Without shoes and waking up on the Island from the Ferry.

ThisThe raft is your start, it contains a sleeping bag tucked inside left of it. It will allow you to sleep when night comes and store in it when you need it; Next to it is a Small Objects Box. This contains your starting items that will already be in your Bar but in case you lose them for some reason you can always come back here to pick up a new one.

The island contains many resources, you can see most of these resources in the resource menu of your backpack, but not todor is it on the island, I will list todThe items you can find on the island. The objects that are underlined they have a chance of falling but are not guaranteed.

  • Barrels - Recovered metal drop
  • bottles - Glass drop
  • Wooden chest - Fall of recovered metal, iron shards, gold and light stones
  • Shrubbery - Fiber drop
  • Fiber plant - Fiber drop in abundance
  • Blueberries - Fall Blueberries
  • Marigold - Calendula drop (orange flowers)
  • Lavender - Lavender Fall (Purple Flowers)
  • Stone Node - Stone Fall, Iron Fragments
  • Limestone node - Limestone tumble
  • Clay Node - Clay Fall. Sapphires.
  • Tree - 3 tree sizes, each size has more health and more wood drop.

TodThese resources can be found on the island and certain resources only appear in certain areas. For example, limestone is only found on the beach or slightly in the water and like most of this game, the fun and interest of it is finding it on your own. (If you ask me to add certain places where resources can appear in greater abundance, I will do so.)

The island is beautiful and has many key areas that can be beneficial to you if you decide to return to them. On the eastern side of the Island there is a small water path that leads to a smaller one. This Island contains the following. Two anklets and an abundance of clay. And some Limestone This makes it good for that type of Resource without being too Dangerous

Towards the part top of the island in the northwest It is a place called the Sandstone Alter in here you can find more resources and more rare items as well, something you usually cannot find around other areas on the island. The Area contains the following 4 Anklets and 2 Boars. Multiple Barrels and Typically 2 Chests full of Goods.

At Lóleo Eventos, northernmost part of the island there is a broken bridge. You can jump the first bridge by jumping over the rocks on the right. When you get there you must Spend Resources to rebuild it and it takes you to a Mini Highland Island. Up there is a broken ornate structure and 2 barrels.

Al West is what some players know as the "Island of Demonstration" and this is where there are more things to find. You can find on the far side of it in the west the pirate island that contains a little more loot for you to find and some structures for you to enjoy as well. With multiple ways of traversing it can be a slightly more pleasant area to build on.

(The next part is a little secret, so I won't show any details unless you choose.) To the north of the «Island of the Demonstration» is the "Lonely Island", which contains a skeleton and a sword called "Marlin", which is a great starting weapon that you can acquire for free. It can also be reached by swimming to the edge of the map and it will return you to the island.

Moving on to the key areas of the island, there are three key points. One of these points will be worded with a spoiler. First, the broken bridge on the side northeast of the map that leads to Bridgewater, the town of Len Island. It is one of the key points of your trip, since you will go there frequently to interact with NPCs and merchants.
The second place you will visit is the entrance of the cave, located in the lower center of the map, which is your access to the caves. Allowing you to gather more resources than you can normally get on the island. It allows you to fight, explore and adventure. This is another key area that you will spend a lot of time on. I suggest you familiarize yourself with it, about todor early in the game, when you're running in the dark, it can be easy to get lost.

And for the last area, which is redacted. This area is unlocked when you go much further into the caves and unlock a locked mining shaft. Upon repair, this entrance is unlocked to allow quick and safe travel to key points in the cave.

The town of Bridgewater

This section will cover Bridgewater, the city on the island of Lens. They will talk about their NPCs and merchants, what you can interact with here, and what you will find and expect here.

Ah yes, the city of Bridgewater. A lovely place that our resident artist 'Daniel Ang'[www.danielangart.com] drew for one of the game's many splash arts. In this city you will find todor what you need for your farmer dreams, your warrior hearts or your gambling problems. Each merchant has its own charm and each merchant sells different products and certain merchants sell equipment. Here's a brief explanation for each merchant and what they sell before moving on to the layout of that area of the map. (Please excuse the lack of screenshots from here on out, I wrote most of this on a terrible laptop while I was away and forgot to transfer the screenshots from my PC.)

The Lumberjack He sits near the entrance of the city and is a simple man, he stands next to his wooden house and sells you wood for little money. And if you want for any reason, you can sell him wood also.

The Florist A lady with strange tints who will sell you some pretty flowers and buy them for you too. He sits in his little booth facing the water, near the smithy. Your store has lavender essence , calendula y roses for you to choose.

The farmer The farmers' hard day never ends, setting up a stall next to an orchard, sells you todor type of products and buys them at a decent price. She will be happy to exchange what you have and is especially fond of bread, buying and selling blueberries, bananas, grapes, passion fruit, watermelon, pumpkins, wheat y pan.

The witch The witch is a mysterious figure of the people, some dicen who used to live in a house north of town. But it was abandoned a long time ago. He now lives partially as a tailor, allowing you to buy new pigments for your clothes in exchange for some resources. She sells you a lot of backpacks, but you can swear the last backpack she sold you was whispering. She will kindly take the trade todThe Lightstone and Void Guts that you find in the Caves. She buys lightstone y Dark Essence, She sells Backpacks y Colorful clothes.

The bricklayer Each village has its dedicated builder and masonry along the mountainside houses this Villages Finest. Well, just the bricklayer. He is a happy and dedicated man and he is here to sell you todos their construction goods. sell stone, limestone y clay.

The druid A sleepy old man with a bastón that never bows. She spends most of the day napping in her chair and trading her fine natural equipment for goods. I'm sure he hangs out behind the farmers market to enjoy the smell of fresh produce. He will sell you the set of natural teams.

The blacksmith The working man hitting against steel todor the day working to bring you the best equipment. The blacksmith works hard for his weapons and his refined equipment is nothing to write home about. Sell the refined equipment, iron shards, carbon y reclaimed metal.

Fishermen The Fisherman and his captain sit on the docks tending to their stocks. They sit in the port looking to sell their weapons worthy of the sea. From them you can buy a robust set of equipment. They sell the Fisherman Set and Crystal.

The pirate Arghhh! The Pirate is often heard calling when customers pass by his Bargh! Although he is a noisy guy, he is honest. Even if you complain about a loss, you always keep your end of the bargain. Will sell you the pirate set and will play Blackjack you.

The traveling merchant A strange man arrives at the port and, although most of the villagers know him, he has a lot of equipment that is not like the others. Sell these weird and fancy guns, but never dice where did he get them from? But what does it matter? They work wonders against todor, sometimes you even feel faster. In the end he seems like an honest worker. sells you Sapphires and Exotic Set.

These are the main NPCs on the island of Lens and the ones you will interact with the most. There are some more scattered NPCs, like the mayor which is on the bridge to the city, but right now they only have limited dialogue and nothing to interact with at the moment.

There are a few things scattered around the town for you to interact with, directly north of the bridge is a small plot of land that you can purchase and build. I suggest you search the town and todto the area because of the small pieces scattered around. (The following contains some of them.) There is a ladder that can be built in the north of the village, you can jump to the rock on the right and roll through the air. The loot and a note are up there. By swimming out of bounds, your character returns to the beach, surrounded by bottles of alcohol.

The caves

This section will cover todor anything related to the Caves. Most things from here on out will not have spoiler alerts as you will have figured out most of them by now, only some things will be Spoilere'd so venture out at your own risk. Here I will tell you what you will find in the caves, the resources and the enemies. What lies deeper and little tips to help you along the way. It will be divided into two parts. The first part is the caves, the other is the city.

The caves

The Caves are a mixture of feelings, there is a lot of adventure and yet you will use caution at every step. The feeling of getting new resources and the feeling of exploring the dark unknown puts a lot on a player. I wonder how crowded it is to find it.

These Caves hold an abundance of new Resources for you to acquire. From new foods that you can't find naturally on the surface to iron shards to work into your next weapon. This is what you will find naturally down here. (Remember that todor what is highlighted only has a chance to appear).

  • Stone and Iron Nodes - Drop stone and iron shards.
  • Charcoal Stone Nodes - Drop Stone and Coal
  • Stone nodes - Drop stone and iron shards
  • Big Stone Nodes - Drop Stone and Iron Shards.
  • Luminous stone nodes - Drop glow stone
  • Barrels - Recovered metal drop
  • Small boxes - Fall from passion fruit and grapes Medium boxes - Fiber drop
  • Safes - Fall of recovered metal, gold, iron shards y luminous stone
  • Luminous Stone Chest - Luminous stone fall.
  • Golden Glowstone Chest - Releases luminous stone in abundance.
  • Enemies - Dark essence.

The caves are full of many resources and most of the resources will not be the same next time you go, most of the placement on Lens Island is hand-placed, but when it comes to resources there is quite a bit of RNG that it comes in what is stripped and where it is stripped. No trip will be the same for resources and this is especially important in caves. There are multiple areas in the caves that are abundant in resource nodes that are worth fighting to conquer the additional resources. There are also many monsters or «empty»And its generators. Here are the different types of mobs that you will find in the Caves.

  • Ankle Teethers - The smallest of the void creatures. They have very low HP, tend to hunt in swarms, and attack with a small lunge or bite. They can spawn from a spawner.
  • Voidling - Voidling generally small HP, runs in both and leaps to attack, swings to attack and is not too dangerous but can be intimidating. It can come from a generator.
  • Void - A large void creature, very fast, very healthy, and very strong. It can be fought without too much fuss on its own, but is often paired with other creatures that can make a threat.
  • Name TBD (I mean like Wild Boar.) - It is the Great Void of the Island. It is resistant to most slash attacks but takes normal damage from blunt and piercing weapons. Very healthy, very harmful if it catches you, the attacks are slow and with many openings.
  • Name TBD (I mean the Thunderbugs.) - The Thunderbug is slow and has a medium health reserve. But what it lacks it makes up for in damage, the Thunderbug hits you point blank to do a lot of damage, on its own it is not too dangerous, but it is often paired with other enemies making it a great support for swarms. . An enemy to watch out for, as he deals a lot of damage and has a reasonable health pool.
  • Voidboar – The big boss at the end of the cave city section. Voidboar has a lot of HP, being a boss after todor and hits reasonably hard. It has two phases, after losing a third of its HP it is imbued with lightning and loses the default 'Boar' attack set in exchange for a custom thunder set, its basic swing sends an AoE shockwave through the sand that you can roll or jump across. A Thunder Breath attack that can deal a lot of damage if you are trapped in the center and his Charge attack that allows him to reach fleeing players. It may take several tries to beat it.

When you first enter the caves you come across a few lamps, a broken bridge, and resource nodes to your left. There's a box right next to the entrance to the right so you can change your gear whenever you feel like it. By following the broken bridge that you can repair from the other side for a small Resource cost. You are free to explore the cave, there are some notable landmarks inside the cave. These landmarks are bastbefore different from the usual places that are visited, although I am not going to give exact directions to these points of reference, I am going to share some details about them.

The upper quarry It is a quarry that is in the higher levels of the cave, it has a few resource nodes and a brazier that is located in the center that is very bright for you. Even the top of it has some Void Spawners.

Below is another section «Lower quarry»Which is not as detailed but contains most of the resource nodes, but also a bunch of ankle biter spawners. With some normal voids mixed in. Typically the upper part of this area has a few Barrels as well.

There is a section that takes you to a broken house after rebuilding a ladder, some resource nodes and spawners there. Another similar one in the Cave without a ladder but instead is a bit hidden and by a Jump Puzzle with a few more nodes and Spawners along the way.

There are a few more in the cave, but you won't find them as much as others and it's always good to leave some for the players to find outside of the guide, but of course, if requested, I'll add each of them with the short descriptions of the areas.

There are many interactives in the caves for you to enjoy. This falls into such things as

  • Lamps
  • Braziers
  • Light stone runes.
  • Notes.

Todas the light sources, lamps y braziers They can be lit using charcoal and will stay lit forever, being near a brazier will heal you for (5) one tick. Note that enemies can also be healed with these braziers, so fighting close to them will not always be to your advantage. The Lightstones on the other hand are important to power up, they will allow you to open the Door for Chief Voidboar past the City Section.
