The puzzle of the bells takes place in the Dimitrescu Castle, in the Workshop behind the Library. This is a mandatory puzzle that must be completed in order to advance in the story. When you arrive at the Atelier it seems that you find yourself in a dead end since you do not see any logical way to continue moving forward.
If you want to overcome this puzzle you will have to shoot five hidden bells around the room. This will open the large painting of Lady Dimitrescu on the wall and reveal a secret passage to you.
Let's assume that we are looking straight at the painting of Lady Dimetrescu to show you where the bells are:
- Look at the hand and you will see a large bell on a small table.
- Look at the right, and you will see a small bell on top of a closet, right in front of a painting.
- Now turn around and go up the stairs to the very top. If you look left for one opening in the wallYou will see a pendulum swinging with a large bell at the top.
- From the top of the stairs, look right above Lady Dimetrescu's painting, there you will see a glass and behind it a bell. You will have to shoot twice, once to break the glass and once to hit the bell.
- Stay at the top of the stairs. If you look up you will see a ceiling or chandelier lamp. Shoot it once to make it swing and you can see the bell that is missing inside of it.
When you shoot all the bells you should hear a sound and the large portrait on the wall will open to reveal the path.
