Runes guide for beginners ELYON

What are Runes?

Your team has holes. You can put Runes in those Holes if they share a Color. White Runes can enter any Socket. Any rune can enter White Holes. The benefit of equipping a rune in a slot are additional skill points for your class skills and rune points of the rune color. White runes only grant skill points and are inferior. There is also Transc. Runestones that give a direct effect when socketed. Things like HP absorption or increased critical hits or more vitality.

There are 6 colors

  • Red - Assault - Offense
  • Orange – Control – Specialized attack and crowd control
  • Yellow - Destination - Utility
  • Green - Support - Support
  • Blue - Protection - Defense
  • Violet - Awakening - Upgrades that come with a downside

red is bastIt's easy to explain with more DMG, but you find more DMG in many of them and I'm sure you think Support is about healing and protection is about becoming tanky, but that's not true. todor true.

I recommend getting the first 2 levels of Raiding and Awakening as soon as possible, as well as the first Support Level, as it can really change bastbefore, depending on what you lack at the moment. I do not advise against entering Destino early. The best Bonuses are far away, while Rush and Awakening get their first good Bonus in the first 2 levels and XNUMXst level support is also great.

Wake up

Awakening has 4 abilities at the first level, allowing you to choose between:

  • DMG + Defense-
  • Scroll Speed + Attack Speed-
  • Defense + Critical Resistance-
  • Cooldown reduction + Skill points-

While the following 3 allow you to choose between:

  • Compensate for weakness: remove the penalty from the first level.
  • Strength upgrade: gives you an additional 50% of the first level
  • Winning move: doubling the first level

Which can result in Ultra Crystal Cannon Builds with Winning Movement or Free Movement Speed or Defense with Weakness Compensation or just the right amount of Skill Points for a decent Cooldown Reduction, whatever it is, gives you really powerful bonuses. that are more than an Assault DMG

Control

A few words for Control. The early levels and some of them give Bonus a certain way of attacking (Projectiles, Areas, etc.) and if you decide to just go with a certain way of dealing DMG, it's definitely something you'll want to look into, but personally, I tend to use a lot of different skills and I don't want to delve into them.

Progressing further

After this, you can and should individualize whatever you want, I like the third level in Assault, but it's not as necessary anymore. Support gets more support, protection gets tougher, and uses a lot of shields, and both seem to be really great and beneficial when you invest a lot into them. Control, Awakening and Fate give you interesting alternative ways to play with their ups and downs and are great if you really want to specialize in something. Only Assault seems to fall bastante fast after the first 2 big levels but how do you progress?

There are a few ways to get more rune points that result in more rune levels. The 2 most common are equipping more Runes and upgrading them.

To equip more runes, you need more slots on your team. This can be achieved by upgrading your equipment. Every 4+ level, the team gets a new rune slot.

To update the runes, you must first polish them. This costs a bit of gold and a bit of gunpowder which can be obtained by dismantling equipment or runes that you no longer need. When the rune is maxed out, you can use 2 of the same type (the second does not need to be upgraded) to get a higher level rune.
