How to update Final Fantasy VII Remake from PS4 to PS5
The first thing you have to do is have installed Final Fantasy VII Remake on your PS5 console, whether the physical or digital copy. Once you have it installed you have to follow the following steps:
- Choose Final Fantasy VII Remake in the PS5 menu.
- Underneath, you will see a button that says "Play" and another button with "three ellipsis." Press the three ellipsis.
- A drop-down will open and you will see the option «Upgrade of Final Fantasy VII Remake for players of the PS4 version. Press that option.
- Accept to start downloading the PS5 version (if you have the game in physical format it will ask you to insert the disc)
- Once the download and installation is complete, you will be able to play Final Fantantasy VII Remake with its Next-Gen update.
This is the "official" way of doing this. In my case, I did not have the option to update the game in the dropdown. But here I leave you another way (very similar) to do the same and that worked for me.
- Enter the PlayStore.
- Search Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and look for the button with the three ellipses just like in the previous method.todo.
- There you should get the option to update Final Fantasy VII Remake from PS5 to PS5.
